
OLEMEDO NETS TWO GOALS TO LEAD MIDDLESEX OVER RCSJ-CUMBERLAND
Jason Olemedo scored two second half goals and Matias Barreiros had a goal and three assists as Middlesex extended their unbeaten streak to four games with a 9-0 win over Rowan College South Jersey-Camden.
Jeremy Madrid (Freshman/Perth Amboy, NJ) and Jayson Vassallo (Freshman/South River, NJ) combined on the shutout in goal for the Colts (2-3-20.
Barreiros (Freshman/Sayreville, NJ), Marwan Fouad (Freshman/South Brunswick, NJ) and Michael Estevez (Freshman/South Plainfield, NJ) each scored in the first half as the Colts opened a 3-0 lead.
Middlesex broke the game open in the second half when they found the back of the net six times.
In addition to Olemedo, Claudio Lopez (Freshman/Dunellen, NJ), Efrain Mendoz-Reyes (Freshman/New Brunswick, NJ), Jamie Madrid (Freshman/Perth Amboy, NJ) and Ryan Cardenas (Freshman/Perth Amboy,NJ) each scored goals for the Colts.
Middlesex College returns to the pitch Saturday with a home match against County College of Morris. Kickoff is set for 12:00pm.
