
RAVEN ORANGE TAKES 100 METER HURDLES AT LLOYD SIGLER SPRING MEET
Freshman Raven Orange won the 100 Meter Hurdles and finished second in the 400 Meter Hurdles in the Lloyd Sigler Spring Meet, hosted by Salisbury University in Maryalnd.
Imani Foat (Freshman/North Brunswick, NJ) finished 5th out of 16 in the 100 Meter Dash as well.
Competing at their first event of the year under new Track & Field Head Coach Reggie James, Orange (Freshman/Carteret, NJ) edged out Courtney Martin from host Salisbury University with a time of 17.11, which was just .04 ahead of Martin. Orange narrowly missed topping Martin again in the 400 Meter Hurdles, but the sophomore from Salisbury was 3.43 faster than Orange.
Foat fared well for the Colts as well. Her time in the 100 Meters was 13.99, which was just .67 behind winner Kayla Cook of Goldey-Beacom University.
