Anthony Williams and Alfeny Javier Concepcion scored 20 points each and Middlesex College outscored CC Morris by 14 points in the second half as the Colts nailed down a key early-season road victory, 77-71 over the Titans.
Tristin Harcourt (Sophomore/Newark, NJ) added 16 points and Sean Williams (Sophomore/Old Bridge, NJ) scored 14 for Middlesex, who is currently the #23 ranked team in the latest NJCAA Division II poll.
Middlesex improved to 7-0 on the season while County College of Morris, a Region 19 Tournament finalist last season, fell to 1-4 with the loss.
Morris outscored Middlesex 39-31 in the first half, but the Colts turned things around in the second half, outscoring the Titans 46-32 in the half.
Anthony Williams and Concepcion had nine rebounds each to pace Middlesex while Sean Williams had a career-high seven steals in the win.
Middlesex looks to remain unbeaten when they return to the court on Thursday for a home game against Bucks CC. Tipoff is set for 6:00PM.
