SEAN WILLIAMS GRABS D2 GSAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

Sean Williams became the third different Middlesex College Men's Basketball player to win the Garden State Athletic Conference Division II Player of the Week after two stellar games for the Colts last week.

Sean's brother Anthony Williams and Alfeny Javier Concepcion were the other two Colts to win GSAC Player of the Week honors, picking up the awards the first two weeks of the season.

In a 65-57 win against Essex CC, Sean Williams matched his career high of 25 points while also delivering five assists. He followed that up with a 20-point performance in a 95-65 home win over Lackawanna College. Williams added six assists and blocked two shots against Lackawanna as well.

Williams, a sophomore from Old Bridge, NJ, is currently on a streak of four straight 20-point games and leads the Colts with an 18.8 points per game average.

Middlesex is currently the #22 ranked team in the latest NJCAA Division II National Poll. They return to the court on Thursday, December 19 when they travel to Delaware Tech CC. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00PM.
