Asst. Coach: Rich Catena

Coach Rich started at Middlesex County College in March of 2017 as the assistant coach and goal keeper coach for the Middlesex County College Men’s Soccer Program.  A graduate of the 2000 class of Colonia High School, Coach Rich was a 4 year varsity player and captain of the soccer team.  During his senior year at Colonia High School, Coach Rich won many honors including All-State 3^rd Team player, All-GMC Conference 2^nd Team player, and All-White Division Team player.   After his high school career, Coach Rich was recruited by Middlesex County College where he was a 2 year starter as Captain of the Men’s Soccer Team.  After his collegiate years, Coach Rich went on to play Semi-Pro Soccer for the Developmental league for Major League Soccer as well as playing in the Developmental League for Major Indoor Soccer League.  Coach Rich was a try-out participant for Chivas USA (MLS) and the Portland Timbers (MLS)

During his career at Middlesex County College, Coach Rich’s accomplishments include coaching two goalkeepers that have been awarded to Region 19 2^nd team goalkeepers as well as coached players that have graduated and are now playing in a 4 year college program.
