
FOAT, ORANGE, OWUSU STAR AT TCNJ INVITATIONAL
Imani Foat qualified for nationals in the long jump with a 4.76m leap and Raven Orange improved on her nation-leading time in the 100m hurdles by posting a 13.79 as Middlesex College again performed well in the TCNJ Invitational.
On the men's side, Keith Owusu (Freshman/Somerset, NJ) posted a 12.44 the the triple jump, which places him third nationally. He also jumped a 6.16 in the long jump, a distance that is good for 7th nationally.
Gilana Ricon (Freshman/Piscataway, NJ) showed an impressive 36-second improvement in the women's 1500 meter run when she ran a 5:49:46, a time that places her in the top 10 in the nation.
Orange was again very impressive in the events in which she competed. Along with drawing an automatic qualifier for nationals in the 100m hurdles, she ran a 29.27 (12th nationally) in the women's 200 meter dash. Foat also recorded a jump of 10.06 meters in the triple jump, a distance that is tops iin the nation among NJCAA Division III junior college women.
Angelo Botteon (Freshman/Highland Park, NJ) ran a 4:23 in the 1500 meters and placed second in his heat by .01. The time put him fifth in the nation and about six seconds off the automatic qualifying time.
Matthew Sutton ran a 11.99 in the 100 meters (14th in the nation) and Jordan Bowman's (Freshman/Sayreville, NJ) ran the 100 meters in a time of 12.48.
