MIDDLESEX COLLEGE MENS VOLLEYBALL TOPS PASSAIC, FINISHES 8TH AT NJCAA NATIONALS
Middlesex College Men's Volleyball capped their season by participating in the NJCAA National Men's Volleyball Invitational for the first time in program history and represented themselves well in the tournament.
The Colts placed eighth overall in the field of ten teams which came from around the country to participate in the three-day event at Finger Lakes CC.
After dropping their first game to fellow Region 19 participant, Northampton CC, the Colts defeated Passaic CC to advance. Middlesex lost both of their matches on day two, falling to #3 Monroe University and Finger Lakes CC, the host school and defending national champion.
In their win over Passaic, Middlesex had a balanced effort in taking down their regional foe. The Colts won the first set 25-19, but fell 25-21 in set two.
