Seeded #2 in the NJCAA Regional Tournament, Middlesex defeated #4 Northampton, who was ranked #8 in the country in the latest poll, by a score of 10-2.

Against Northampton, Middlesex jumped on top with two runs in the bottom of the first. Northampton tied the game 2-2 in the top of the fourth, but the Colts exploded for eight runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 10-2 lead.
