SEYFARTH SCORES 23 TO LEAD MIDDLESEX WOMENS BASKETBALL PAST BUCKS CC

Carla Seyfarth led all scorers with 23 points and was one of three Colts who scored double digit points as Middlesex College topped Bucks CC 81-11 for their second win of the season.

Vanessa Rivas (Freshman/Perth Amboy, NJ) scored 19 and Sarah Ohnmeiss (Freshman/South Plainfield, NJ) added 13 as Middlesex improved their record to 2-8 on the season.

Seyfarth scored 11 points in the first half as Middlesex built a 40-4 halftime lead. Courtney Hansen (Freshman/Carteret, NJ) had eight points in the first half for the Colts as well.

The second half was more of the same, although Rivas led the way for Middlesex, scoring 17 of her 19 points after the half. Seyfarth scored 12 second half points as well for the Colts. Eight different Colts scored points in the contest.

Middlesex returns to action Tuesday when they travel to Sussex CC. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00PM.
