NEPTON, DERILUS SCORE 14 EACH AS MIDDLESEX WOMENS BASKETBALL TOPS BERGEN 82-35

Kaylin Nepton scored 14 off the bench and was one of five Colts to score in double digits as Middlesex College Women's Basketball topped Bergen Community College 82-35.

The win was the third in past four games for the Colts, who moved to 5-10 on the season.

Middlesex jumped out to an early lead on Bergen, outscoring the Bulldogs 22-13 in the first quarter on the way to a 43-18 halftime lead.

The second half saw more of the same as the Colts shuffled their entire roster in and out of the game.

In addition to Nepton, Franchesca Derilus (14), Carla Seyfarth (12), Vanessa Rivas (12) and Courtney Hansen (12) reached double digits for the Colts. Rivas added 15 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season.

Hansen paced the Colts with eight assists.

Middlesex returns to action Thursday when they travel to take on Montgomery County College. Game time is set for 5pm.
