MIDDLESEX HOLDS OFF ORANGE CC TO WIN 16TH GAME OF THE SEASON, 66-61

 Middlesex College Women's Basketball built a 21-point lead through three quarters and then withstood a furious fourth quarter comeback attempt to beat SUNY Orange 66-61.

With the win, Middlesex moved to 16-10 on the season while SUNY Orange fell to 7-11 on the season.

Middlesex outscored SUNY Orange 35-14 in the first half of the road matchup.

Courtney Hansen (Sophomore/Carteret, NJ) scored a team-high 16 points and Damani Anderson (Freshman/Elizabeth, NJ) had a double-double off the bench with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Anderson wasn't the only reserve to contribute in a big way. Angelina Peralta-Almonte (Freshman/Plainfield, NJ) scored 13 off the bench and Kezia Feaster (Freshman/Elizabeth, NJ) came in to score 12 on 5-6 shooting. Feaster paced the Colts with six assists and five steals as well.

Middlesex wraps up their regular season schedule on Tuesday when they host Camden CC for a 6:00PM start. The Colts have clinched a spot in the Region 19 playoffs, which will begin next week.
