
MIDDLESEX COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TOPS SALEM CC 63-40
Genilah Singleton scored a game high 15 points on 6-11 shooting and Kezia Feaster turned in a fantastic all-around performance off the bench as Middlesex College opened 2025 with their second straight win.
The Colts topped Salem CC 63-40 and now stand at 7-8 on the season.
Middlesex and Salem hooked up for a very competitive first quarter with the Colts coming out on top 17-14 to take a slim early lead. Middlesex built their lead to 34-26 at the halftime and then turned up the heat defensively on the Mighty Oaks in the second half.
Middlesex held Salem to just 14 second half points on the way to a 23-point victory.
Feaster played 18 minutes off the bench and was second on the Colts with 11 points. She led the Colts with five assists and five steals while also adding five rebounds as well.
Alyssa Rice (Freshman/Piscataway, NJ) scored 10 points while adding six rebounds and three assists for Middlesex as well.
The Colts have a busy week with three games scheduled in five days. They will travel to Bucks CC for a 6:00PM tipoff on Tuesday.
