WOMENS SOCCER FALLS IN TIGHT MATCH TO #9 RCSJ-GLOUCESTER 3-2

Kimberlie Suffrant continued her offensive assault, scoring two more goals against RCSJ-Gloucester, but it wasn't enough as Middlesex College Women's Soccer fell to RCSJ-Gloucester, the #9 team in the country, in a hard-fought 3-2 game.

Suffrant (Sophomore/Irvington, NJ) got the scoring started early on a cold, rainy day when she found the back of the net in the game's sixth minute. The Roadrunners (7-4) tied the game just two minutes later and took a 2-1 lead in the game's 23rd minute.

The game remained 2-1 deep into the second half before the Roadrunners added an important insurance goal in the 75th minute.

Suffrant scored her second goal in the game's closing minutes, but time ended before Middlesex (4-4-1) could score the equalizer.

Suffrant is one of just 11 players in the nation on the NJCAA Division III level to have at least 10 goals this year. This was her third two-goal game of the season.

Rania Alaboura (Sophomore/Edison, NJ) played the entire game in goal for the Colts and registered 11 saves in the loss.

The loss snapped a five-game unbeaten streak for Middlesex.
